So L156 is the only rig of the first batch to not be entered into service?

No, many have yet to enter service.  In my neck of the woods Ladders 42, 38, 29 have yet to receive their rigs.

Has anyone figured out why the new rigs are not yet in service?  Are they waiting until the hunits currently assigned hit a certain amount of mileage, hours or possibly maintenace manhours ?

The company getting the new rigs have to go familarization and then the new rigs go to the shops and if the rig passes there inspection then the rig is signed off and assigned to the company out also goes to radio ships and gets all the radios it needs.. its def not because of uping the milage and such
