100' Ferrara Rear Mount Aerials

According to my information (as of January 3, 2012) the following five units, on the first order of 20 100" Ferrara rearmounts, are in service:


L 81      8/30/2011
L 137  10/17/2011 
L 32    11/4/2011
L 24    11/8/2011
L 169  11/15/2011
L 123  12/30/2011

Does anyone have any information of other units going into service?    Seems so slow getting these units into service and a fire in the Bronx this week had all spares responding.

Really off topic next Saturday or Sunday I'm going down To Rescue 1 & Engine 54 , Ladder 4 , Battalion 9. Is it better to drive to Manhattan from Yonkers or take the train ? & if so is there parking around Rescue 1 I've been there before but do not remember , any suggestions ?

We were barely there of 5 minutes and they were banged out.

Happy to see L156 finally got their Ferrara. A couple of months ago L156 went to the Rock to get their Ferara. The new rig wouldn't start after all the equipment had been removed from the old rig. ??? :
