In response to Johnny Bopps post about the new rear mounts being junk. I will admit if im wrong but i will give it some time befor i admit the i was. :-\

I wasn't aiming that at you brother.  In fact, you're the only person on here who has a valid basis for concern.  Right?  You had them on your job and had a bad experience.

On a side note; it looks like all of the first batch are off of Ferrara's production page.  However, none have been added to the New Deliveries section.  It'd be nice if they'd update that as well.

The original order seems to have been completed, but there are several companies that are not pictured.  Anyone have photos of all of the first 20 apparatus?

According to my information the following five units, on the first order of 20 100" Ferrara rearmounts, are in service:

L 81      8/30/2011
L 137  10/17/2011
L 32    11/4/2011

Does anyone have any information about any other units in service?

I saw you guys at a box yesterday afternoon on I bleieve 43rd and 7th. Bat 9 was running an 03 spare excursion and the ladder has SL9402. Thing looked like it was fit for the trash. I will say though someone at the house is very artistic with the duct tape.

Didn't have a chance to talk to any of the brothers from 24 truck.  We are currently running our second spare rig our first was SL9401. Our regular rig which has been at the shops and seagrave should be back in service soon. I can't wait.  Its oos because of a cracked block,it has no front trans seal, and a coolant leak, oh yeah forgot to mention sludge in the oil I think thats it

Sounds like a lack of maintenence.

We have a maintence program that the rigs get serviced at least 4 times a year.  Plus some companies run a lot more than others for instance my company and everyone around us.  Some parts eventually wear down quicker than others. And shit breaks nothing is unbreakable Lack of maintence maybe....over use and excessive wear and tear most definitely
