Bulldog.....From what I was told once the FDNY  accepted the first rig, production will start on the rest of the order...

JohnnyBopp...... This is the list I obtained starting with the 2002s and continuing with the 2003s..

The 2002s are. E . 287...73...274...268...295...60...89..( these should be replaced by the 2014 Seagraves )

The remaining 2002s are E. 153...97...251...70...71...83...52...220...306...224...228...259...313...247...262...286...

2003s  E 319...314...316...309...96...299...312...205...4...211...219...46...94...263...283...163...167...162...165...158...157...249...58...277...45...82...48...95...42...233...227...37...38...64...75...248...59...201...281...214...302...239...303...90...67...271...230...291...279...331...329...294...235...255...62...47...292...5...66...242

All the engine companys starting with E 153 are the new KMEs

Figured with them starting to go inservice I would bump the list so we wouldn't have to go searching for it.

Not really the right thread, but didn't wanna start up another for one rig, so here's 85. Photo by me!

Kind of weird seeing a FDNY rig with no company logos what-so-ever

Nice pic though, and nice looking rig.

I know this isn't a KME, but didn't want to start a new thread for it.

New E165 at the Radio Shops in Queens

Pic is from NYCFireBuffs on FB:

A number of engine co's have now completed New Apparatus Training.  Eng's 70, 71 and 83 finished over the last few days.  Anyone been buffing around the shops or radio shop?  Seen any?  Guy at CTS said 30 are ready and delivered.....but this sounds wrong to me...

Chowson.......

The info. you received regarding the new KME is not correct...KME stated that they would be able to produce 4 pumpers per month......Also E 251 completed the new training also.

I am a co administrator with a different fire buff group on facebook and I lucky enough to get pretty much weekly updates. One of my members lives near the KME plant and usually stops there once a week and takes updated photos. I also have two  members that work for KME in my group...

The last update I got a few weeks ago was there were 2 more near completion and atleast 6 cabs in different stages.
If I hear anything I will post it here to update this group.

Yeah.....didn't think 30 ready to go sounded right.  However, Eng. 97 is in service and at least 4 or 5 more should have been built since thiers was completed at KME.  According to the guys at Chauffeur Training School, the shops are calling weekly asking who's completed training so they can push the rigs out.....
