  Chief when I used to ride my bicycle down the street chasing the fire trucks, that was my first probie badge. I had a siren on that bike with a basket where I carried my big boots. When they saw me going down the street everybody said; "there goes fireman Bill".

  Many years later, things really hadn't change too much. Except instead of riding my bicycle to chase fires, I rode in a real fire truck. I still had a siren and those big boots. And everybody still said; "there goes fireman Bill".
