In the photo one post above DC Friton the bottom photo is Howie's Son Bill's personal Fronts...Fire Patrol*2...ENG*235...LAD*111...LAD*4 (stepped up after their massive 9-11 loss) ....SQ*1....Bill prior to FDNY was also NYPD 83 Pct & is & has been heavily involved with the NY FFs Burn Center as well as the Summer Camp for burned youngsters....always giving...he learned well from his Dad my good friend Howie Carlson ....New York Fire Patrol....FDNY Manhattan Dispatcher...FF ENG*277....Charter Member LAD*175.... FF R*4....LT LAD*120 ....CPT LAD*124...BC BN*51.....CONTINUED REST IN PEACE ALONG WITH JAYNE (who always put up with us hanging out) .....In the video Howie is at 1:55 & again at 6:51........

Those helmet fronts are among Chief JKs, "68jk09" collection. There's a few more that might be missing in that photo. We know Ladder Co 108 and Rescue 2 are also part of his resume.

And of course we welcome our newest member, "Dan R" of the Providence Fire Dept here among us.

Marty Cunniff was eventually promoted and was the Captain of Marine 2 when it was disbanded.
He retired about six months later.
